What is NLP?
NLP is a collection of mental techniques you can apply for many different purposes—such as transforming limiting beliefs into empowering ones, gaining better control over your emotions, or overcoming fears like public speaking.
NLP was developed in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder. Since then, hundreds of highly effective mental strategies have been created, all aimed at giving you more freedom in how you feel, think, and want to be.
Is NLP therapy?
No, NLP is not therapy. However, it can help solve issues that are often addressed in therapy. NLP is designed for people who want to grow and develop.
NLP means freedom—freedom to choose how you respond to that annoying colleague or family member, freedom to decide whether a presentation makes you anxious or gives you confidence and energy.
Freedom to feel the way you want, to behave the way you choose, and to be who you truly want to be.
In short: the freedom to follow and achieve your goals and dreams. That’s what NLP is about, and that’s why NLP is for anyone who wants to improve themselves.
Can you give an example of an NLP technique?
One typical NLP technique is learning to observe and interpret eye movements. In the Practitioner training, you’ll become highly skilled at observing others.
Eye movements can indicate whether someone is talking to themselves, recalling past events, or imagining new ones. This helps you connect more effectively with their inner experience and communicate at a deeper level.
What does a typical NLP Practitioner day look like?
Training days are very dynamic because every participant is different.
We usually start the morning with an explanation of a piece of theory, supported by real-life examples. Then, the trainer will demonstrate an NLP technique or skill that fits that theory.
After that, you’ll work in small groups to practice the technique or skill, guided by the trainer or one of the course coaches.
This way, you can learn in a safe environment and experiment confidently.
Is lunch included during the training?
Yes, lunch is included during the training. Every day, we set the table with freshly baked bread, delicious salads, and a wide variety of spreads and toppings.
Would you prefer to bring your own food? No problem! There’s a fridge and microwave available, or you can grab something nearby.
